Eyecare providers were desperately needed to provide essential eye health care to the homeless and needy families. Dr. Alexandra volunteers for the Illumination Foundation Medical Outreach Program. This program is sponsored be Essilor Vision, Alcon, Optometrists Giving Sight, VSP, Saddleback Hospital San Clemente and the Illumination foundation.

Dr. Alexandra provides homeless and individuals at risk of homelessness with free vision care at locations throughout Orange County. She coordinate clinics and health expos to provide free vision care throughout OC to serve those who are unable to access healthcare: homeless, at risk of homelessness, uninsured and low-income.

Dr. Alexandra has accepted an opportunity to share her LASIK expertise in the Mid-East. She has been invited to offer her services as a LASIK consultant at a surgical center in Doha, Qatar. Dr. Alexandra will be instrumental in the establishment of the ophthalmological department at a private hospital in the capital city of Qatar.

The Mobile Eye Care Clinic: When not dedicating her time to caring for her patients at the LASIK Center Medical Group, Dr. Alexander devotes much of her free time to volunteering for the Mobile Eye Care clinics for homeless and indigent families and individuals.

Dr. Alexandra is featured as a "Dynamic Woman of Orange County" in the Riviera Magazine.
